Story Behind the Song: Haunted by the ghosts of love, the Wrong Crowd seeks fellow sufferers who join the Legion "to forget" and find the violence, loneliness and hoplelessness only intensify the feelings of despair and regret.
Chris Forehan plays the guitar part with typical fire - all that listening to Sham 69, The Clash and The Revilllos teaching him something about passion that he has never forgotten.
Captain Rick tries to understand the complex non-structure of his own lyric writing and employs the vocal techniques learned from never listiening to Leon Russell, His slide playing is far more reserved than it once was, though not from lack of desire. "I need to take lessons from myself", hos comment.
